A Nickname is basically a replacement name of some one’s proper or original name. Although it could be used for humans, places etc and can be used in a funny, humorous ways, that is not always the case.
It’s basically a truncated form of the original name, e.g: Mac for Macintosh etc.

It’s a most interesting topic about how nicknames come about for a great many things but the point of discussion for this post is about some of the cute nicknames that most boys and girls have.
In one of our previous posts we wrote about some cool and awesome nicknames of famous countries. Many people have asked us to compile a list of some unique and awesome nicknames that are given to us by our loved ones. Although there are thousand of nicknames, we are offering a more concise the list of some of the more popular  cute nicknames from around the world both for boys and girls.

We are sure that you have likely heard of many of these names and actually know some people who make use of these names, but like any list of names, it is not all encompassing.  Please don’t be annoyed if we didn’t include your nickname in the list .
