Prom season is here! So, while all the ladies are out at the last minute shopping for dresses and the guys scrambling for tuxedos we thought we would add to the prom tornado with a look at one of the most interesting prom photos ever to be taken.

President Obama in 1979 taking his Prom pictures! In the photo below you can clearly see that Obama is having a really great time!

It kind of looks like President Obama fancies his friends date more than his own doesn’t he? Anyways, Time Magazine has some… interesting details regarding the picture.

Obama spent most of his time in high school shooting hoops, studying and having fun with friends. The male friend in the picture, was his best bud Greg Orme. During the Prom the duo double dated. Obama and his date Megan (the blonde on the right) met Orme and his date, Kelli Allman at Allman’s house where they had champagne (UNDERAGE DRINKING ANYONE?) before going off to the dance. It was a pretty typical Prom for Obama as he went out to dinner and then to the dance.

The photos were originally sent to Time Magazine by Kelli Allman, Obama’s friends date. She also shared what Obama wrote here in her yearbook at the end of senior year.

A lot of us can’t help but fantasize what it would be like to be famous. To have the money, cars, big houses and everything else that comes along with fortune and fame. Generally, celebrities are looked at as the height of the perfection. They have the perfect face and the perfect body. Magazines articles are written about how good they look and men and women all over the globe stand in awe. However, you might find it shocking to learn that not every celebrity out there started out with the greatest of looks. In fact, one could make an argument that by our societies standards the celebrities on the list below were not overly attractive.

1. Taylor Swift

You may find it interesting to know that the beautiful Taylor Swift wasn’t always so “beautiful.” Luckily, the American singer turned out to be a blonde bombshell! Swift has multiple number one hits and has won a lot of awards including best album of the year!

2. George Clooney

All the ladies love George Clooney. That is an undeniable fact but he wasn’t always the “sexiest man alive.” In fact, when he was younger he hadn’t quite “honed” his look yet. However, the American Actor has certainly put those days behind him!

3. Ryan Seacrest

Everybody’s favorite T.V. show host, Ryan Seacrest, didn’t always have women clamoring over each other to get his autograph. In fact, when he was younger he was a bit chubby. Again, like the other celebrities on this list he recovered and is one of the most desirable men on the planet.

4. Megan Fox

Before she got famous through Transformers, Megan Fox wasn’t exactly setting the boys on fire with her looks. Luckily for the men out there she grew out of her awkward teen phase and developed into one of the most beautiful women on the planet. You can find her in the Transformer movies as well as various other independent films.

5. Angelina Jolie

Arguably the most beautiful woman on the planet had an awkward teen phase like Megan Fox above. Angelina can be seen through multiple movies such as Tomb Raider, Mr. and Mrs Smith, Wanted and Salt.
