Flag Design: The flag of Laos has 3 horizontal strips. Upper and lower ones are of same size while the middle strip is double in size. It also has a white circle on the middle strip. The red stripes in flag represents the bloodshed during their struggle for freedom, blue represent the prosperity while the white circle or disk represents the unity of people and country’s bright future.
