Longest Name of a Place

New Zealand, we all know is a very beautiful country. It’s basically an island country and when we talk of island’s, we mean sea, hills etc. On the Southern Hawk’s Bay of New Zealand there is a hill which is famous for many things but there is something interesting that you need to know.  It has an incredibly long name!

Yes, that’s right, this is the name of the hill and it is the longest name of a place among all the English-speaking country. This name is in Maori Language and its rough translation is like:
The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one.
